Artist Joyce draws on city’s ceramic heritage for new exhibition

ACCLAIMED artist Joyce Iwaszko was inspired by the world’s most recognisable range of pottery for her latest exhibition.

And fittingly her collection of pieces – entitled Jasper Compositions – is being displayed at the Wedgwood Institute in Burslem.

She admits living in North Staffordshire – the heart of the ceramics industry – provides plenty of inspiration for her paintings, prints and installations.
