Welcome to the Ceramic Skills Academy – an information hub and educational and training resource for those working in and aspiring to work within the ceramic industry. Owned and led by leading ceramics businesses, the programme has been part-funded by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills through the Growth and Innovation Fund.
For centuries, Stoke-on-Trent has been known as a ceramics heartland and, in a time where the industry has increased opportunities, the CSA mission is to ensure that those skills that set UK ceramics apart from the rest of the world do not become lost. By sharing the specialist knowledge and resources on this site we can ensure that essential knowledge and skills are passed to future generations, contributing towards an ever more vibrant and forward-thinking industry.
