Work Placements

Ceramic industry employers are the drive behind the Academy. Here’s what some of our board members can offer:

“Our work experience placements consist of a 5 day unpaid placement, covering time spent in our offices, warehouse and shop. It will also include a Factory Tour and a Careers session. Occasionally, we can offer a placement in our Design Studio, working on a specific project.”

“Placements at the BCC would normally be of one week’s duration and offer the opportunity to learn about the huge range of challenges and opportunities confronting the employer in the twenty first century. The placement would meet a number of senior industry representatives and therefore derive an understanding of strategic issues we are currently working on.”
