Join a vibrant, forward-thinking industry…
As an advanced manufacturing, export-led sector, the ceramics industry is a vital contributor to Staffordshire jobs as well as the UK economy as a whole, producing high quality, innovative, design-led, technologically advanced products from tableware to industrial high-tech products and medical implants.
To do this, the industry not only needs the renewal of traditional ceramic skills such as hand-banding, lithography, kiln firing, guilding and dish making but also requires the skills of scientists, technicians, production managers and engineers. A host of other back up skills including ceramic sales and marketing, research, design and support services such as ceramic HR and ceramic business and administration and ceramic finance all have a major role to play in our industry.
If you are thinking of a ceramics career there are a wealth of opportunities within ceramics recruitment available for graduates.
